"The Wondrous Saint Sai Baba"is a book written by Sri Narasimha swamiji in the first decade of his Sai prachar work. While the four volumes of Life of Sai Baba written by him later exhaustively present the real nature of Sri Sai Baba, the purpose of his advent and his universal teachings, 'The Wondrous Saint Sai Baba' presents all the salient facts in a nut shell briefly.

A study of this book will be a source of inspiration to an earnest reader and will help him in his or her onward march inspiritual sadhana. Most of the details given herein are authentic, having been drawn from the experiences narrated to Sri Swamiji by the contemporary devotees of Sri Sai Baba.

About Pujya H.H. Narasimha Swamiji
 
Born on 21 st August 1874 in Bhavani, Coimbatore District Tamil Nad in a respectable family, Narasimhan studied law and blossomed into an upright, honest and leading lawyer.

Known as Salem B.V. Narasimha lyer, he engaged himself in all social activities of Salem, becoming the Chairman of Salem Municipal Council. He was elected as a Member in Madras Legislative Council. He was a fiery patriot having joined the Home Rule Movement. A domestic tragedy prompted Narasimha yer in 1921 to renounce the samsaric life in search of Truth.

After tapas at the feet of Sri Ramana Maharishi in Tiruvannamalai, pilgrimage to many places and contacts with many saints, he ultimately attained his goal in the Samadhi Mandir of Sri Sai Baba at Shirdi. As commissioned by Baba, he undertook Sai Prachar and in two decades made Sri Sai
Baba's name a household word. He wrote a number of books on Sri Sai Baba which are published by the All India Sai Samaj of which he was the Founder-President from 1941 to 1956.
